Any showers and storms that do pop up this evening will die down once the sun sets and tonight will be mild and muggy. Expect a partly cloudy sky with our lows reaching the upper 60s to the lower 70s. Some fog will form in the valleys tonight.
Thursday will still be warm with the highs reaching the mid 80s. The dewpoints temperatures will remain high so expect another muggy day. The first half the day will be dry but the clouds will begin to increase a head of our cold front. The front will arrive by the afternoon and it will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. A few of these showers and thunderstorms could be quite strong and produce heavy downpours and strong winds.
The active weather will continue into Friday morning. Friday will be a cloudy day with scattered showers. Friday’s highs will only reach the mid 70s. The dewpoint temperatures will remain high so it will be cooler overall but it will be muggy.
A front will stall to our south Saturday and that will keep clouds around for most of us and some rain. The temperatures will range quite a bit on Saturday. Those cities who see more sun in our northern counties will be warmer while the counties to the south will be cooler due to the clouds and shower. Saturday highs will range from the low 70s to the upper 70s.
Sunday will be a cool day over all with clouds and scattered showers. The first half of day will be cloudy with drizzle. The heavier showers will come in the afternoon and evening hours. Sunday’s highs will only reach the low to mid 60s.
Monday will be in an active day with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Expect light to moderate rain throughout the day. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
