Wednesday evening a cold front will bring snow showers to Central Pennsylvania. Flurries and snow showers will arrive around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday for our western and northern counties first and continue into the overnight hours. Scattered snow showers take over during the overnight hours. The western and northern counties will see more snow than the rest.

Thursday morning the snow showers will continue so the roads could be a bit slick and lightly snow covered. You may want to give yourself a few extra minutes to warm your car up and to clear off any snow that sticks on your cars or trucks. We don’t expect a lot of snow but just enough to cover some roads. The higher peaks could pick up 1-2 inches while the valleys expect to pick up less than an inch. The snow showers will taper to flurries by Thursday afternoon. The clouds will remain thick but some sunshine will peak through.
