A front will stall to our south for the start of the weekend. Saturday will be a cooler and lesss humid day with both clouds and sunshine. The clouds will start to dominate from south and west later in the day. Highs will be in the 50s to the lower 60s on Saturday A disturbance travelling along this front stalled to our south will likely bring us plenty of clouds and rain on Mother’s Day. It will be a cool, if not downright chilly, day thanks to the rainfall. Highs on Sunday will only be in the 50s. Some of the higher terrain in the Laurel Highlands will have a tough time rising through the lower 50s.
Behind that disturbance it will stay unsettled through the beginning of next week. Monday will feature a good deal of clouds along with scattered showers. It will be another cool day with highs in the 50s. Tuesday will bring some breaks of sunshine but there will be a shower in some locations. Temperatures once again will only reach into the 50s. The nights will also be quite chilly as some spots with lows in the 40s. Some of the colder spots could get into the 30s. We’ll warm back into the 60s on Wednesday with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with a pop-up shower possibility by the end of the day. The next disturbance will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Thursday; otherwise, we’ll have clouds and sunshine with highs in the 60s to near 70.
