There will still be scattered flurries early Thursday then clouds will break for some sunshine. It’s going to be another cold day but not quite as cold as recent days. Highs will be in the 20s which is still well below the average high which is in the lower 40s.
Friday will feature more clouds than sunshine. A disturbance cutting south of the area will give us a bit of snow or flurries, especially the farther south in Pennsylvania that you are. While there may be a covering of snow in places, there is likely not going to be anything significant nor any travel problems. Temperatures will rise only into the lower to middle 30s on Friday.
Milder air will make a return over the weekend. Saturday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 40s. We’ll have rain for a time Saturday night into early Sunday as the next front moves through the region. This rain will end and with some clearing and a westerly wind temperatures are going to surge through the 40s and into the 50s. Monday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 40s. There’s only a chance for a sprinkle or flurry on Monday as a weak front moves through the region. Behind this front, Tuesday will only be slightly cooler with a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 30s to the lower 40s. Wednesday will turn milder despite sunshine mixing with some clouds. Highs will be in the 40s to near 50. It looks like it will be mild but wet as we head into the following weekend.
