We’re going to remain rather cloudy tonight with spotty drizzle and areas of fog. Some flurries will mix in later tonight and it will become breeze tonight. Do watch out for some slick spots as temperatures will drop below freezing across much of the higher terrain. Temperatures will have a tough time dropping below freezing in the valleys near and east of I-99. There still may be a flurry in places early then the rest of the day will be cloudy to partly sunny and breezy. Highs in the 30s to near 40.
There will be a few breaks in the clouds Thursday night into Friday but then the clouds will win out again for the rest of Friday as the next storm system approaches the region. This system looks like it will primarily be a rain maker. Temperatures will reach the 40s on Friday, not drop much Friday night and then will reach into the 40s again on Saturday despite clouds breaking for some sunshine. Sunday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 40s. Monday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. These showers may change to flurries before coming to an end on Tuesday. Highs both Monday and Tuesday will be near to just above 40 but it will start to turn chillier later in the day on Tuesday. Wednesday will be a windy and colder day with clouds, some sunshine and the chance for some flurries. Highs on Wednesday will be in the 30s with the wind making it feel a good bit colder than that. Temperatures will then rebound back to near to just above average later next week.
