Thursday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with more in the way of clouds later in the day as another disturbance approaches the region. This system will bring a period of light snow to some areas, especially south of Route 22 Thursday night into early Friday. The rest of Friday will be cloudy to partly sunny and chilly for the first day of March with highs in the lower to middle 30s.
A warm front will bring a good deal of clouds along with the chance for a bit of snow or a mix Saturday with highs in the 30s. A stronger cold front will then move through the region Sunday morning with snow showers. Temperatures early Sunday will reach into the lower to the middle 30s but the rest of the day will be windy and it will turn colder. Temperatures will fall into and through the 20s with scattered snow showers the rest of the day. Monday will be windy and cold with times of clouds and sunshine along with a slight chance for some flurries or snow showers. Highs will be in the 20s with the wind making it feel even colder than that. Tuesday will be cold with clouds and sunshine and just the chance for snow showers. Highs will be in the 20s. Temperatures will likely drop into the single digits in places Tuesday night. Wednesday will be a cold day despite some sunshine. Highs will be in the 20s to near 30. We’ll stay into a cold pattern through the end of next week.
