Overnight Weather Forecast Tuesday, March 5th, 2019

Cold air will retain its grip on the region Wednesday into Thursday. There still could be some flurries in places Wednesday; otherwise, we’ll have partial sunshine. That sunshine will only be for moral support as highs will be in the teens to the lower 20s.

Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy and cold with highs in the 20s. Another weak disturbance will bring us some flurries and a snow shower or two on Thursday. Highs will be in the 20s.  Friday will feature more clouds than sunshine. A disturbance cutting south of the area will give us a bit of snow or flurries, especially the farther south in Pennsylvania that you are. Temperatures will rise only into the lower to middle 30s on Friday.  Milder air will make a return over the weekend. Saturday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 40s. We’ll have rain for a time on Sunday as the next front moves through the region. This rain will taper later in the day and there may be some clearing with a westerly wind. This should help push temperatures well into the 40s, reaching into the 50s in places.  Monday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the lower to middle 40s. There’s only a chance for a sprinkle or flurry on Monday as a weak front moves through the region. Behind this front, Tuesday will only be slightly cooler with a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 30s to the lower 40s. We’ll warm up a little more later next week.
