Milder air will flood into the region everywhere tomorrow thanks to an increase southwest to westerly wind. We’ll have more clouds than sunshine. As a cold front moves through the region, there will be some showers and thunderstorms but the threat will start to fade later in the day. Highs on Friday will be in the lower to middle 70s but some of the ridges west of Route 219 may be cooler.
This front will stall to our south for the start of the weekend. The humidity will lower on Saturday with a mix of clouds and sunshine. It will be a little cooler with highs in the lower to middle 60s. A disturbance travelling along a front stalled to our south will likely bring us plenty of clouds and some rain on Mother’s Day. It will be a cool day with highs in the 50s to near 60. Behind that disturbance Monday may still be a bit unsettled with times of clouds and sunshine along with scattered showers with highs in the 60s. Tuesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the middle to upper 60s. We’ll pop into the lower 70s on Wednesday with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with a pop-up shower possibility by the end of the day.
