Monday will be quite windy and cold for this time of the year with considerable cloudiness along with scattered showers that will mix with snow across some of the higher terrain. Temperatures on Wednesday will hold mostly in the upper 30s to the lower 40s with the wind making it feel a lot colder than that. The wind will slacken Monday night with lows in the 30s. Tuesday will feature clouds and sunshine and it won’t be quite as blustery. There will be more clouds to the north with the chance for some showers with a warm front with less clouds and milder air to the south. Highs ill be in the 50s, but some places near the Maryland border may reach into the lower 60s. Wednesday will feature more clouds than sunshine with the chance for some showers, especially earlier in the day and to the north. It will be milder on Wednesday with highs in the 60s. Thursday will feature an even milder day with variable cloudiness along with showers, maybe a thunderstorm, especially later in the day. Highs will be near to just above 70. The next system will slowly move through the region with rain and thunderstorms on Friday. The following weekend will be cooler with highs in the 50s. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with showers and drizzle. Clouds should break for at least some sunshine on Easter Sunday. Warmer air will then make a return for the following week.
