Overnight Weather Forecast, Monday February 25th, 2019

Weathercast

Tuesday will be another chilly day with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Highs will be in the 30s with some spots north of I-80 and on the ridges, not getting out of the 20s. The clouds streaming into the area are in advance of the next system which will bring a period of light snow to parts of the region on Wednesday. Right now it looks like this will be a light snow with a couple of inches possible, especially north of I-80. Farther to the south, it will be milder Wednesday with highs in the 30s to near 40, but temperatures will struggle to rise higher than the middle 30s where there is some snow.

There will still be a bit of snow or flurries in a few spots early Thursday; otherwise, we’ll have times of clouds and sunshine Thursday with highs in the lower to middle 30s. Another weak disturbance may bring a bit of light snow Thursday night into early Friday; otherwise, Friday will be cloudy to partly sunny with highs in the 30s. Saturday will also be a little unsettled with a bit of snow or a wintry mix Saturday. Highs will be in the 30s. Behind that system, we’re going to have a very cold air mass move into the region. Sunday and Monday will be windy and cold with highs in the 20s. Some spots may drop into the teens each night. The cold weather pattern will last into the middle of next week.
