We’ll still have a fair amount of clouds along with a chilly breeze around for a while Tuesday morning but then the clouds should break for a good deal of sunshine by the end of the day. Highs on Tuesday will be in the 30s to near 40. With a clear sky and light winds, temperatures will drop fast Tuesday night with lows in the 20s. Some of the colder spots will drop into the teens.
Wednesday will be the nicest day of the week with a sunny to partly cloudy sky with highs in the 30s. Sunshine will give way to an increase in cloudiness on Thursday. The next storm system will bring periods of rain later Thursday through Friday. A cold will then sweep through the region Friday night. Behind the front it will be windy and it will turn colder with snow showers Saturday. Highs in the 30s. Sunday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 30s to near 40. Monday will be cloudy to partly sunny with flurries or snow showers possible so there is a chance for some snow on the ground for Christmas. The best chance will be west of I-99 though it’s still quite early and things could change. Highs on Monday will be seasonable, reaching into the 30s.
