We will have a mix of sunshine and high clouds again for the day on Saturday, though there may be a little bit more in the way of sunshine in places. These clouds will help to keep temperatures from rising out of the 70s. More moisture will continue to press into the area from the southeast on Sunday. We’ll have a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Some showers will start to sneak into the area from the south during the afternoon. The best chance for the showers is going to be over the southern Laurel Highlands.
Showers and thunderstorms will be more numerous Sunday night into Monday, and with an increase in humidity, some of these could bring downpours. Highs on Monday will be in the 70s, but with enough rainfall, some of the cooler spots may stay in the upper 60s. A cold front will move the showers out of the area early Tuesday. The rest of the day will be nice with clouds breaking for sunshine. Highs Tuesday will be in the 70s. Sunshine will mix with some clouds on Wednesday with a pleasant high temperatures in the 70s. The next front will bring showers and thunderstorms back to the area on Thursday. Temperatures will only reach the lower to middle 70s on Thursday. Behind the front, we’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine on Friday with just the chance for a shower. Highs again will be in the lower to middle 70s.
