A chilly wind will blow Saturday with variable cloudiness along with scattered flurries. A few spots will have a ground whitening snow shower Temperatures Saturday will hold nearly steady, even fall a bit during the afternoon. A stiff wind will make it feel a good bit colder than that.
We’ll have clouds and sunshine Sunday with highs in the 30s to near 40. The next storm system will approach on Monday. Clouds will increase fast with rain developing from the south to the north during the afternoon. It’s going to likely be wet as we ring in 2019 at midnight. With the arrival of rain temperatures will struggle to rise from the 30s into the lower 40s on Monday. The rain will likely leave before sunrise on New Years Day. Tuesday will be cloudy to partly sunny and breeze with highs in the lower to middle 40s. Chillier air will seep into the area on Wednesday with a mix of clouds and sunshine and just the chance for flurries. Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower to middle 30s. Thursday will be brisk and cold with clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the lower to middle 30s. We’ll have a partly to mostly cloudy sky on Friday as the next storm system comes our way. This will likely bring some rain Friday night into Saturday. Behind that system it will stay seasonably chilly through the following weekend.
