The rain continues Saturday night into Sunday morning.There will be some freezing rain in higher elevations creating icy spots on the roads. You’ll want to use caution as you commute.. There is a Winter Weather Advisory until Sunday at 4:00 AM for Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Centre, Elk, Clearfield, and Blair Counties. Saturday night low temperatures will not fall and will stay in the upper 30s and in some spots even climb into the 40s.

Sunday we will have showers early and then the clouds will try to break. Sunday will be a very windy day. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Elk, Jefferson, Clearfield, Centre, Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, Bedford, Somerset, and Indiana Counties starting Sunday at 1:00 PM until Monday at 1:00 PM. Winds on Sunday will be sustained between 20 to 30 mph. Gusts will be between 50 to 65 mph. This could lead to tree branches or object blown onto the roadways. It also could allow for power outages. Make sure to be prepared. Later on Sunday we will have temperatures falling from near 50 degrees into the 30s. This will lead to some scattered snow showers or flurries late Sunday into Monday. Sunday’s low temperatures will be in the 20s.

Monday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. There will also be a few snow showers or flurries. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the 30s. It will be another windy day making the air feel colder. Monday night we will fall into the teens and lower twenties with patchy clouds. Most of the week will be chilly with high temperatures in the 30s. Average high temperatures this time of the year are near 40 degrees.

Tuesday there will be times of clouds and sunshine. Tuesday night our low temperatures will fall into the 20s. Wednesday we will have more clouds compared to sunshine with a bit of snow. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 30s. Thursday there will be clouds mixing in with some sunshine. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 30s. Thursday night we will fall into the lower to mid 20s. Friday we will have clouds and sun with a flurry or two. Our high temperatures on Friday will reach the lower to mid 30s. Saturday’s high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s with a system moving in.
