Today we will have more clouds compared to sunshine with snow showers. It will be a cold and windy day. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the lower to mid 30s. Winds will make the air feel even colder. Our winds on Tuesday will be form the west between fifteen to twenty miles an hour. Gusts will be even higher. Most of the snow showers today will be North of I-80 and into the Laurel Highlands. We could see between 1-3” of snowfall in these areas. In Elk and Jefferson County through Wednesday there could be up to 3-6" accumulating. Due to this the National Weather service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Elk, and Jefferson Counties until Wednesday evening. The rest of the area will see just a dusting. Tonight our low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s. We will continue to have scattered snow showers Tuesday night.
Wednesday we will have clouds and sunshine with scattered flurries and snow showers. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Wednesday will also be blustery. Wednesday night our low temperatures will drop back into the lower to mid 20s. Thursday we will have times of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 30s. Thursday night our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 20s.
Friday we will have clouds increasing with drizzle and then rain will begin to develops. Friday will be milder but still below average for this time of the year. Our average high temperatures at this time are in the mid to upper 40s. Our high temperatures on Friday will be in the mid to upper 30s. Friday night we will have patchy clouds with low temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Saturday we will be cloudy with more rain moving in. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Saturday night into Sunday we will have rainfall, and in some spots a wintry mix. Low temperatures on Saturday night will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Sunday will be a cloudy day with rainfall. By Sunday afternoon the rain will taper off to showers. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Sunday night we will fall into the mid to upper 30s with a cloudy sky. Monday we will be a cloudy day. A stray shower or two cannot be ruled out on Monday. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in lower to mid 40s. Monday night we will fall into the lower to mid 30s.
