Morning Forecast, Tuesday February 5, 2019


This morning we will be in the 40s with a cloudy sky along with some showers and drizzle. It will also be foggy. Showers will taper off today and clouds will try to break. Our high temperatures tomorrow will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. In the northwest temperatures will reach the lower 40s, compared to the southeast where we will be in the lower 50s. Today will be a breezy day. Winds today will be from the west between ten to fifteen miles an hour. Tuesday night our low temperatures will drop into the lower to mid 30s with patchy clouds.  

Another system will start to roll in on Wednesday. We will have a cloudy day with rainfall and drizzle. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 40s. There could also be some freezing rain mixed in during the onset of this system. Use caution while commuting. Wednesday night into Thursday morning temperatures will be into the upper 30s to lower 40s. There could be some slick spots on the roads. We will have high temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. It will be a cloudy day with periods of rain. With snowmelt earlier this week and rain on Thursday, watch for ponding on the roads. If you come across a roadway covered with water make sure to turn around and take an alternate route. Thursday night the rain continues with low temperatures falling into the 40s.

Friday a cold front will move through. We will have rain to start the day and then clouds will break, for a short time.  Temperatures will also drop as the day goes on. Early Friday we will be in the upper 40s but drop into the 30s through the day. Once temperatures drop in the afternoon we will have some scattered snow showers and flurries. It will also become windy as the day goes on. Friday night our low temperatures will be in the teens to lower 20s.

Saturday temperatures will be back to average or slightly below. Our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s with sunshine and a few passing clouds. It will also be a windy day making the air feel colder. Saturday night we will have low temperatures in the lower to mid 20s with a mainly clear sky. Sunday we will have clouds increasing and there could be some snowfall late. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
