Morning Forecast, Monday February 4, 2019


This morning will be foggy with temperatures in the 30s. We will be foggy as the snow melts. Take your time on your morning commute and always use your low beams instead of high beams to drive through the fog.

Today we will have sunshine mixing in with the clouds. It will be a mild day with high temperatures in the lower to mid 50s. Looks like Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction of an early spring will hold true for the next few days before temperatures go back to winter this weekend.  This is well above average for this time of the year. Our average high temperatures are in the lower to mid 30s. Tonight a weak front will try and cross the area. We will have variable cloudiness with a shower or two. Low temperatures tonight will not fall far. We will have lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Tomorrow there will be some clouds and showers to start the day and then sunshine mixing in by the afternoon. Our high temperatures tomorrow will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds on Tuesday will be from the west between ten to fifteen miles an hour. Tuesday night our low temperatures will drop into the lower to mid 30s with patchy clouds.  Another system will start to roll in on Wednesday. We will have a cloudy day with rainfall and drizzle. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 40s. There could also be some freezing rain mixed in. Use caution while commuting. Wednesday night into

Thursday morning temperatures will be into the upper 30s to lower 40s. There could be some slick spots on the roads. We will have high temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. It will be a cloudy day with periods of rain. With snowmelt earlier this week and rain on Thursday, watch for ponding on the roads. If you come across a roadway covered with water make sure to turn around and take an alternate route. Thursday night the rain continues with low temperatures falling into the 40s.

Friday a cold front will move through. We will have rain to start the day and then clouds will break, for a short time.  Temperatures will also drop as the day goes on. Early Friday we will be in the upper 40s but drop into the 30s through the day. Once temperatures drop in the afternoon we will have some scattered snow showers and flurries, Friday night our low temperatures will be in the lower to mid 20s. Saturday temperatures will be back to average or slightly below. Our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s with sunshine and a few passing clouds.
