Weathercast

A low pressure system will be rolling into the region today. Early this morning we will have a bit of a wintry mix. Watch for slick spots on the roadways. In the northern counties and the Laurel Highlands there will even be some snow mixed in. We could have a dusting to an inch of snowfall north of I-80 through this evening.

Today we will have a cloudy sky with a chilly rain through the day. You’ll need your umbrella. Our high temperatures today will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. It will also be a breezy day. Watch for ponding on the roadways. If you come across a roadway covered in water, turn around and take an alternate route.  Tonight our low temperatures will drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s. We will have some snow showers overnight into early Saturday morning. Saturday there will be a cloudy start with some flurries and snow showers but by the afternoon, clouds will break for some sunshine. Saturday despite the sunshine will be windy and chilly. Our high temperatures on Saturday will struggle to make it out of the 30s. Our average high temperatures this time of the year are in the upper 40s to lower 50s. It will feel even colder with blustery conditions. Saturday night our low temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 20s with a partially clear sky. Sunday we will have a partly to mostly sunny sky. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the lower to mid 40s. Sunday night our low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Monday there will be more clouds compared to sunshine.  Showers will begin to arrive late in the day on Monday. High temperatures will be in the lower to mid 40s. Monday night into early Tuesday morning we could have a wintry mix. Use caution as you travel early Tuesday morning. Tuesday we will have variable cloudiness with some flurries, snow showers and some showers mixed in. Tuesday will be a chilly day. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will only make it into the mid to upper 30s. Tuesday night our low temperatures will drop into the lower to mid 20s with flurries. Wednesday will also be a cloudy day with snow showers. It will also be a breezy and bitter cold day. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.  Into the rest of next week the cool air hangs around and high temperatures will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
