Snowfall has ended and now we will continue to have a wintry mix, sleet, and freezing rain during most of the afternoon hours. Due to this the National Weather Service has continues Winter Storm Warnings for Blair, Bedford, Cambria and Somerset Counties until 6:00 PM. For Centre, Clearfield and Huntingdon, it goes until 7:00 PM. A Winter Weather Advisory continues for Elk County until 6:00 PM. Jefferson and Indiana County are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 1:00 PM. Use caution there will be slick and icy road conditions. As the mix switches to rain later this afternoon and evening, we will have steady and heavy rain at times. An Areal Flood Watch has been issued for Jefferson and Indiana County until 1:00 AM on Wednesday. If you come across a roadway later today covered in water, make sure to turn around and take an alternate route. Our high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s. High temperatures will not hit until later today. Our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 20s. Tonight the rain tapers to showers and will switch over to snow showers as cold air moves in. It will also become windy tonight.
Tomorrow will be windy with scattered snow showers and high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s. Watch within a snow shower for low visibility and slick road conditions. We will pick up a dusting to a couple inches in higher elevations with the scattered snow showers on Wednesday. Wednesday night low temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 20s.
Thursday we will have more clouds compared to sunshine. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Thursday night will be rather cloudy with low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s. Friday our next system moves in. Friday will be a cloudy day with rainfall. This could start off as a wintry mix at first. Our high temperatures on Friday will be in the lower to mid 40s. Friday night we will have low temperatures in the 30s.
Saturday morning we will have a mix switching to a few snow showers. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 30s. It will be a rather cloudy day. Saturday night our low temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 20s. Sunday there will be clouds along with some sun and a few flurries and snow showers. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Sunday night temperatures will drop into the 20s. Monday we will have clouds with some sun mixed in and flurries. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Monday night we will fall into the 20s with patchy clouds. Tuesday there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine with high temperatures in the lower to mid 30s.
