Snow showers will bring a fresh covering to spots early this evening so please be careful driving out and about. These will come to an end early tonight. The rest of tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy and brisk with lows in the upper teens to the lower 20s.
Another cold front will approach the area on Thursday. Ahead of the front we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine along with a gusty breeze. Snow showers will develop from the west with this front during the afternoon hours. These snow showers may bring a slick evening commute. Temperatures will reach into the 30s ahead of this front. There still may be flurries and a snow shower early Friday then the rest of the day will be cloudy to partly sunny and quite chilly with highs in the 20s to the lower 30s.
A storm system will gather strength and pass to our south this weekend. Any snowfall from the system looks like it will stay well to our south but it is something that we’ll continue to watch. As of now it looks like both Saturday and Sunday will feature times of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 20s to the lower 30s. If this system draws any closer, the weekend may be chillier with a mostly cloudy sky. We’ll still have more clouds than sunshine on Monday. With highs in the lower 30s. A bubble of high press will then settle into our region and give us nicer weather for the middle of next week. Tuesday will be partly sunny but chilly with highs in the lower to middle 30s. We’ll have a sunny to partly cloudy sky on Wednesday with highs in the 30s, perhaps to near 40. Another storm system may pass close to the region later next week.
