We’re going to be close to the battlezone between warmth to our south and cold air in the Northern Plains and that is going to keep our weather a bit unsettled at times this week. Tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in places as a front moves through the region. Lows tonight will be in the 50s, some places near and north of I-80 will drop into the 40s. There still may be a shower in places early Tuesday; otherwise, the rest of the day will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine. There is just a chance for another pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon, especially in the southern part of the region. Highs on Tuesday will be in the 60s which is close to average for this time of the year. Wednesday will turn a little milder with a mix of clouds and sunshine. While a shower or thunderstorm is possible, most spots and most of the time will be rain free. Highs on Wednesday will be close to, if not just above 70. A front stalled over the region will give us more clouds than sunshine Thursday and Friday. Highs on Thursday will be in the lower to middle 70s but highs may be closer to 70 on Friday. Nights will be more humid with lows in the 50s.
This front may stay stalled close enough to the area to continue the chance for a shower or thunderstorm in places on Saturday. Highs on Saturday will be in the middle to upper 60s. A shower or thunderstorm is possible on Sunday with highs in the 60s to near 70. The chance for a shower or thunderstorm looks to be quite small on Monday leaving us with partial sunshine and highs in the 60s to near 70. We’ll stay mild for this time of the year into the middle of next week.
