This rain and drizzle will develop a little farther to the north through the early part of tonight. Later tonight we will continue to have rain that will be steadier to the south and more like drizzle to the north. We will also continue to have areas of fog, dense in some locations. Temperatures tonight are going to drop a few degrees and then hold fairly steady. We will continue to have periods of rain and drizzle during the day on Saturday, with the steadier rain mainly in the southern part of our viewing area. We’ll have areas of fog with temperatures struggling to rise into the lower 40s east of I-99 while reaching into the 40s farther to the west.
We’ll have scattered showers and drizzle Saturday night and Sunday with a good deal of clouds along with areas of fog. Lows Saturday night will be in the 30s. Highs will be near to just above 40 on Sunday. There is a slight chance the rain could mix with some sleet or freezing rain in a few spots. Behind this system Monday will be cloudy to partly sunny and a bit windy with high temperatures in the upper 30s to the lower 40s. Tuesday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with a cool breeze and highs near to just above 40. Wednesday will be a nice December day with a sunny to partly cloudy sky and highs in the lower to middle 40s. Thursday may start off with some sunshine then clouds will increase as the next system approaches. Rain may develop later Thursday and then we’ll have some rain Thursday night. That rain will mix with or change to snow showers as on Friday as a front sweeps through the area.
