Sunny and dry today, but rain will arrive tomorrow evening. It has been a very soggy year in Central PA and more rain is headed our way.
Thursday evening and through the day on Friday a low pressure system from the south will bring us times of rain. It will fall heavy and steady at times. By the time the system moves out, about a 1/2 an inch could fall in western and northern counties, with at least an inch of rain in southeastern counties. There could be localized even higher amounts.
Due to this, the National Weather Service has issued an Areal Flood Watch for Huntingdon County beginning Thursday evening and continues until Friday evening. If you come across a roadway covered in water, make sure to turn around and take a different route.
