Pi is not a dessert but an irrational number that is useful for math. An irrational number is a number that goes on for infinity and never repeats.
Pi is useful because it is the ration of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. No matter if the circle is large or small… the ratio of 3.1415 is always found. Pi was first found in Egypt in 1650 but the symbol for Pi was from Leonard Euler back in 1737.
Pi is very important in math and for weather forecasting. Since the Earth is spherical, Pi shows up in a lot of equations used for forecasting weather and in the computer models that aide meteorologist.
