This evening the cloud cover will increase ahead our our next cold fornt. The is cold front will bring another round of snow showers to the northern counties and a few rain showers and some snow to our southenrn counties. We do not expect a lot of rain or snow from this cold front but some roads could be a bit slick, especilaly the ones in the north. Once the front passes the temperaures will take a tumble tonight and the winds will pick up. There will be a few lingeirng snow showers and flurries before midnight but after we will dry up. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and cold. Tonights lows will be in the low to mid teen for our northern counties and the upper teens to lower 20s for our southern counties.
High pressure will move in for the better part of our Thursday. We can expect a mix of clouds and sun throughout the day light hours. The cloud cover will increase in the afternoon starting from the south and move north. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 30s. It will be a bit breezy. The southern counties will get clipped by a system Thursday night. A warm front will bring some steady snow to our southern counties. Roads could be a bit slick and snow covered. The PA turnpike could be a bit slick Friday morning. If you live north of route 22 you will stay mainly dry but cloudy. The northern counties will not see much or any kind of snow. Friday morning there could be a few flurries left behind, especilaly to the south. Friday will be mostly cloudy to partly cloudy. Friday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s.
Saturday will be an active day. A cold front will bring rain and snow to the region. Ahead of the front it will be warmer. The highs will be in the mid to upper 30s. A few places could reach the lower 40s. The roads could be a bit slick throughout the day so use caution.
The winds will pick up behind the front and that will cause Sunday to be a windy and also colder. Sunday highs will be in the low to mid 30s. Expect another round of snow showers Sunday afternoon and evening. This could cause the roads to be a bit slick. The system will bring snow to the region through Sunday night and into Monday morning. Monday will be cold and windy. Monday’s highs will be in the mid 20s. There could be a few snow showers early Monday.
