High pressure has moved in this morning and will take over the region and stay with us for a few days. After a cool start to today we will see plenty of sunshine and that will warm us up into the mid to upper 70s. Drier air has moved in with the high pressure and that has dropped our dewpoint temperatures into the 50s. When the dew points are this low the air feels refreshing and not humid at all. The clear sky we will see today will continue into the overnight hours. Tonight will be mainly clear and that will allow our temperatures to fall quite a bit and be very cool. The overnight lows will be in the upper 40s ro the lower 50s.

The clear and pleasant weather continues for Friday. Expect a mostly clear sky throughout the day. Friday will be a bit warmer with the highs in the upper 70s to the lower 80s. The dewpoint temperatures will remain low so it will feel nice throughout the day.

Saturday we will notice a few extra clouds in the sky and the dew points wil start to climb a little. It will still feel nice and Saturday will be the last day for a while where it will not be humid. Saturday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s. Central Pennsylvania will still stay dry throughout Saturday.

Sunday will be more humid as the dew point temperatures reach the mid to upper 60s. The refreshing air will be no more. Sunday will stay mainly dry but there is a chance for a few showers in the afternoon. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s’

Monday we will turn very warm and steamy. High pressure will settle over the Carolina’s and that will pump in some very warm and humid air. Monday’s highs will reach the mid to upper 80s. A few cities could see the lower 90s. With the high temperatures and the high humidity it will not feel pleasant at all. There is also a chance for a few showers and heavy downpours in the afternoon.

Tuesday through the end of the work week will remain very warm and humid. The temperatures will be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. each day could see a shower in the afternoon due to the moisture in the atmosphere paired with the day time heating.
