Clouds will increase today and by late this morning and into the afternoon freezing rain and times of rain will arrive. Due to the fact we could have some freezing rain, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Blair, Cambria, Bedford, Somerset, Cambria, Clearfield, Centre, Elk, Clinton until 2:00 PM. Use caution for your mid morning and afternoon commute. There could be slick and icy road conditions. You’ll want your umbrella for the afternoon commute as the freezing rain switches to showers. Our high temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 30s. Tonight we will have a rather cloudy sky as the showers continue. Our low temperatures tonight will fall into the mid to upper 30s.
Wednesday we will have a cloudy sky with a few peeks of sunshine. There will also be some scattered showers around. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 50s. Wednesday night the clouds stick around with a few showers. Our low temperatures will not fall far. We will have low temperatures in the lower to mid 40s. Thursday another low pressure system will arrive from the south. This will bring in another round of rainfall across the area. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the mid to upper 50s. Average high temperatures this time in the end of March are typically in the lower 50s so we will be slightly above that. Thursday night the rain continues with low temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
The low will continue to bring us rain on Friday. At times it could be a heavy rain reducing visibility. Use caution as you travel. Our high temperatures on Friday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Friday night the rain will taper off to showers with low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s. We will have some lingering showers early Saturday otherwise more clouds compared to sunshine. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in mid to upper 40s. It will feel colder on Saturday because of a northwesterly breeze. Saturday night will be rather cloudy with low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s.
Easter Sunday will be breezy. At this point it looks like Easter will be dry with more clouds compared to sunshine. However, a shower or two cannot be ruled out. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Sunday night we will have patchy clouds with low temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Monday will be a dry day. We will have times of clouds and sunshine on Monday. Our high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 50s. Monday night will be partly cloudy as low temperatures fall into the mid to upper 30s. The rest of next week temperatures will be in the lower to mid 50s.
