It is a chilly morning with temperatures in the lower to mid 20s. As the day goes on temperatures will not be climbing far. Our high temperatures today will only be in the mid to upper 30s. Some locations will sneak into the lower 40s. This is very cold compared to average for this time in April. Our average high temperatures are in the mid to upper 50s. Today a disturbance will be crossing the area. It will be a rather cloudy day and we will have a wintry mix. With temperatures hovering in the thirties, we will have some snowflakes falling which could reduce visibility. Also, watch for some icy and slick patches on the roadways. Some areas could have a coating of snow and in higher elevations up to an inch is possible. This will exit the region overnight. Our low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Tomorrow we will have more clouds compared to sunshine. Our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. A stray flurry or sprinkle cannot be ruled out. Tuesday night we will have patchy clouds with low temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Wednesday there will be a mix of clouds and sunshine. We will also have a westerly wind on Wednesday. Our high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. This week will start off bitter cold, but temperatures will be climbing steadily as the week goes on. We will finally start to feel some spring warmth. Wednesday night clouds will increase as a low pressure system approaches. Our low temperatures on Wednesday night will be in the mid to upper 30s.
Thursday temperatures will start to soar into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Winds on Thursday will be gusty from the southwest. We will have winds sustained between fifteen to twenty miles an hour and this will usher in the milder air. Thursday will be a rather cloudy day with some showers. You’ll want your umbrella on standby. The system on Thursday will quickly exit our area leaving us with what looks to be a dry Friday. We will have times of clouds and sunshine on Friday. It will be a breezy day and temperatures will soar. Our high temperatures on Friday will reach into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Saturday clouds will increase and showers will arrive late in the day. Saturday will also be warm. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Sunday a front will be crossing Central PA bringing us some showers. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the 60s. Monday will be dry but cool. We will have intervals of clouds and sunshine on Monday. We will also have a northwesterly breeze that will usher in the cooler air. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the mid to upper 50s.
