A cold front is rolling across the region today. We will have high temperatures early today, then temperatures will be falling into the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Even the lower 50s in some spots. By late today, we will have fallen into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Rain will be turning into snow showers by late this afternoon. Use caution as you travel. There could be slick and icy road conditions. It will be a rather cloudy day with fog. This afternoon as the a northwesterly wind will usher in the much colder air. Winds will pick up and we will have winds sustained between fifteen to twenties miles an hour. Gusts will be into the 30 mile per hour range.
As the rain switches to snow showers, visibility could be reduced. The winds will not help either, making it very difficult to see. The snow shower activity should not bring too much in the way of accumulating snowfall. Tonight our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 20s. We will have variable cloudiness overnight with a few snow showers. Wednesday will be a blustery day. We will have some lingering snow showers and flurries early. For most of the day we will have more clouds compared to sunshine. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Wednesday night will be chilly. Our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper teens with patchy clouds.
A ridge of high pressure will build into the region on Thursday. This will bring us blue sky and sunshine. Despite the sunshine it will be a cool day. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. This is slightly below average for this time of the year. Our average high temperatures in late January are in the mid to upper 30s. Thursday night we will have a clear sky. Our low temperatures will fall into the upper teens to lower 20s.
Friday will be a dry and sunny day too. We will only have a few passing clouds. Temperatures will start to rebound on Friday. Our high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 40s. Friday night we will have low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s with a partially clear sky. Clouds will increase during the day on Saturday. It will be a mild day. Our high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Late on Saturday some showers will arrive and continue overnight. Our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s. Sunday will be breezy and similar to today. We will hit high temperatures early in the day in the upper 40s to lower 50s, then they will fall as the day continues. Most of the day will be cloudy with times of rain. Late Sunday night into Monday rain will switch over to some snow showers. Monday will be blustery and colder. Our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s.
