Wednesday will be a lot colder behind the front. We will have high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. On Wednesday we will have intervals of clouds and sunshine. Some northern counties could have a few snow showers, but for the most part it will be dry. Winds will pick up from the northwest on Wednesday making the air feel colder. Wednesday night there will be patchy clouds as low temperatures fall into the upper teens to lower 20s.
A ridge of high pressure will be over the area on Thursday. We will have a mix of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 40s. Thursday night we will fall into the mid to upper 20s. Clouds will increasing on Friday and by late in the day showers will arrive. We will have another low pressure system moving through. Friday the warm front will arrive, which will help temperatures climb Friday and during the day on Saturday. Our high temperatures on Friday will be in the mid to upper 40s. The showers will turn into a steady rain Friday night into the day on Saturday.
Saturday will be another warm December day. Our high temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Even though it will be warm, the rain will make it feel slightly cooler. Rain will start to taper off to showers and even to a wintry mix late on Saturday. Low temperatures on Saturday night will be in the lower to mid 30s. Use caution if you are traveling for the Christmas holiday, there will be slick and icy road conditions. Sunday will be a rather cloudy day with a wintry mix and some showers. It will be colder. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
