Today we will have a mostly sunny sky. A ridge of high pressure is moving into the region today and we will be relatively comfortable for the next two days before the weather pattern changes. Our high temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 70s. This is average for this time in June. Winds today will be light form the north. Tonight we will have low temperatures dropping into the upper 50s to lower 60s with a mainly clear sky.
Tomorrow will be similar. We will have sunshine mixing in with a few clouds. It will be slightly milder tomorrow. Our high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 80s. Tuesday night we will be partly cloudy with low temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Winds on Tuesday will be from the southeast between five to ten miles an hour. Wednesday a warm front will be rolling through. We will have clouds and some sunshine on Wednesday along with some showers and thunderstorms. Our high temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 80s. Late Wednesday into Thursday the cold front will cross Central Pennsylvania and we will continue to have some scattered showers and thunderstorms. Our low temperatures Wednesday night into Thursday will be in the mid to upper 60s. Thursday morning we will have some lingering showers before clouds break as the day goes on. Thursday will be a breezy day. Winds on Thursday will be from the west between ten to fifteen miles an hour. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the mid to upper 80s. Thursday night temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 60s with patchy clouds.
After Thursday, it is going to get very hot and humid across Central Pennsylvania thanks to high pressure. Friday we will have a mostly sunny sky with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. As the weekend goes on, the heat and humidity will continue to rise. Saturday we will have high temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s with sun and clouds. Sunday we will also be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Remember with this type of heat and humidity to limit time outside during the middle of the day and to stay hydrated. Even into the next week it looks to very warm with the potential of a heat wave.
