Weather Forecasts

The snow showers will slow down this afternoon and tun back into rain as our temperatures rise. The actual front will push through later this afternoon and it will turn the rain back into snow. The winds will be coming out of the west blowing 10 to 15 mph but could gust up to 25 mph. In between the showers you will see a mostly cloudy sky and our highs will be in the low 50s.

Tonight the showers will begin to clear out as the front moves south of us but the clouds will stick around. Tonight’s lows will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Saturday a few cities and towns in our southern counties like Somerset, Bedford could see some snow showers tomorrow morning. The weather system will stay mainly to our south and that is where most of the snow will fall. If you live north of the the Pennsylvania Turnpike there is a good chance you will stay dry. If you live in our northern counties you could even see a bit of sunshine peak through the clouds. Saturday high’s will be in the low to mid 30s. That is  about 15 to 20 degrees below average for this time of the year.

Sunday high pressure will move in for about  24 hours and this will clear out some clouds and a bit of sun shine will come down. Sunday will still be chilly with our highs in the 40s.

Monday the cloud cover will increase and a mix of rain and snow will return to central Pennsylvania. Monday’s high will be around 45 degrees.

Tuesday will be slightly warmer but we will see more wide spread rain showers. Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 40s to the lower 50s.

Wednesday we begin a slight warming trend. Wednesday expect a mix of sun and clouds with our highs around 50 degrees. Thursday and Friday we will see a mix of sun and clouds with our temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
