This morning we will start out cloudy with some freezing drizzle and Freezing light rain. There could be some icy spots on the roads this morning. So take it slow during your morning commute. If the streets look shinny it could be ice. There is a Winter Weather Advisory issued until 1:00 p.m. this afternoon for all counties but Jefferson, Huntingdon and eastern part of Centre counties. Most of us will just see some light drizzle and rain throughout the day. Today’s highs will reach the mid to upper 30s with a few cities and towns reaching the lower 40s. The rain will wrap up by this evening but the clouds will stick around. Tonight will be cloudy with our lows in the upper 20s to the lower 30s.
Saturday will start out cloudy but dry. Rain will move in by the afternoon. The rain will be cold as our highs will be above freezing but not by much. Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 30s to the lower 40s. the winds will start to kick up a bit as a weak disturbance moves through our region. the rain will continue into the overnight hours. Saturday night’s lows will be in the mid 30s.
Sunday morning we will start out damp and cloudy but the clouds will break by midday and the rain ends early. The afternoon should be quite nice with peaks of sun and very warm air. The highs will reach the upper 50s to the lower 60s. Enjoy the warmth while you can because we turn cold by the end of next week.
Monday will still be a mild day with our highs in the mid to upper 40s. The clouds will remain thick and there is a chance for a passing shower. A front will move through the evening and that will allow our temperatures to fall quick at night.
Tuesday will be a cold day. the highs will reach the low to mid 30s. There will be a few flurries throughout the day. The wind wil be strong so that will make the day feel colder.
The cold air takes over by the end of the week. Wednesday through the weekend will see a mix of clouds and sun. he high temperatures each day will only reach the upper 20s to the lower 30s.
