Today will be similar to yesterday. We will have a cloudy sky with showers and a thunderstorm or two. Due to having so much moisture in the air there could be downpours. If you come across a roadway covered in water make sure to turn around and take an alternate route. Due to this the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Cambria, Blair, Huntingdon, and Centre Counties until 10:00 PM. Blair County is under a Flood Advisory until 6:15 AM. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 70s. There is a low pressure system off the eastern seaboard bringing in the clouds and rain. It should exit the region overnight tonight. Tonight there will be some patchy clouds with low temperatures in the 60s as the showers taper off.
A ridge of high pressure will move in for Wednesday. This will bring us a relatively dry Wednesday. We will have a mix of clouds and sunshine on Wednesday. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower to mid 80s. It will also be a breezy day. Wednesday night our low temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 60s with a mainly clear sky. It may be a decent night to view the Perseid Meteor shower even though the peak was over the weekend.
Thursday we will have a front moving through later in the day. We will start off with times of clouds and sunshine but later in the day there could be a shower or thunderstorm. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the lower to mid 80s. Thursday night we will continue to have a few showers and thunderstorms with low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
Friday we will have some showers early in the day then clouds should break later into the afternoon hours. High temperatures on Friday will be in the lower to mid 80s. Friday night our low temperatures will drop into the 60s.
Saturday we will have intervals of clouds and sunshine and it will be a dry day. Our high temperatures on Saturday will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Saturday night we will have a partially clear sky with low temperatures in the lower to mid 60s.
Sunday we will have sunshine mixing in with a few clouds. However, during the afternoon hours a stray shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the lower to mid 80s. Sunday night we will have low temperatures in the 60s with a partly cloudy sky.
Monday will be dry with times of clouds and sunshine. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the lower to mid 80s. Next week high temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s.
