Tonight we will have accumulating snowfall into early Friday morning. It looks like we will have a widespread 1-3″ with locally higher amounts in the Laurel Highlands. Temperatures on tonight will not fall far due to the snowfall. Our temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Friday we will have snow showers early and then there will be clouds mixing in with some sunshine. Our high temperatures on Friday will be in the lower to mid 30s. Friday night we will have low temperatures in the lower to mid 20s with variable cloudiness.
Over the weekend we are watching the potential for a snowstorm. At this time, it looks like clouds thicken and precipitation will arrive Saturday afternoon. Saturday’s high temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Saturday we could have a of a wintry mix before it switches over to an accumulating snowfall into early Sunday morning. If we do have rain and ice, this will significantly impact snowfall amounts and lessen them. However, ice will still create traveling hazards. As the weekend draws near, we will have a better idea of the timing of this event and what to expect. Saturday night our low temperatures will be in the lower to mid 20s.
Sunday we will have a cloudy day with snowfall. Our high temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Snow will taper off later Sunday and clouds will break. Sunday night looks could with temperatures in the single digits.
Monday the cold will stick around. Monday will be a bitter cold day. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the teens. Windy conditions will make it feel even colder. We will have a mix of clouds and sunshine on Monday. There could be some lingering flurries on Monday.
Tuesday we will have sunshine with clouds mixed in. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 20s. Thursday night our low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper teens. Wednesday clouds will thicken with high temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
