Today there will be clouds mixing in with some sunshine. Our high temperatures today will be in the lower to mid 30s. The National Weather Service has issued at Winter Weather Advisory for Bedford, Somerset, Blair, Cambria and Huntingdon counties for tonight. A system will bring us some snowfall during the overnight hours. Overnight there will be 1 to 3” in Somerset, Bedford, Cambria, Huntingdon and Blair Counties and about an inch further north. North of I-80 we will not have much accumulating snowfall.
Early Friday morning the snowfall will taper off. During the daytime hours we will have clouds and some sun with a flurry or two. Our high temperatures on Friday will reach the lower to mid 30s. Friday night our low temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 20s with a variable cloudy sky.
Saturday’s high temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s with a system moving in. At this point it looks like it will be a wintry mix or showers on Saturday. We will have a better idea as the weekend becomes clearer. Saturday night we will have temperatures falling into the 20s.
Saturday night into Sunday we will have showers or the wintry mix switching to snow showers. Sunday there will be high temperatures in the lower to mid 20s. Sunday will be a cloudy day with some snow. Into early next week, our high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 20s. It will also be windy making the air feel colder. Sunday night will be cold. Our low temperatures will fall into the lower to mid teens.
Monday will be blustery with a mix of clouds and sunshine. We will also have a few flurries. Our high temperatures on Monday will be in the mid to upper 20s. This is cold for this time of the year. Average high temperatures for the beginning of March are in the lower to mid 30s. These high temperatures will be closer to where our average low temperatures are.
Tuesday we will have clouds thickening and scattered snow showers arriving. Our high temperatures on Tuesday will be in the lower to mid 30s. The rest of next week high temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
