Tonight the scattered showers and thunderstorms we this evening will continue through the overnight hours. A few of these showers and storms may be quite strong and produce a heavy downpour and some gusty winds. Ponding on some roadways may be an issue throughout the overnight hours and into the morning. The lows tonights will reach the low to mid 50s for most of our cities and towns.
Monday morning will be cloudy, damp and cool. Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue into midday. The northern counties will see a clearing sky first around lunch time. This will allow them to warm up quickly. Most cities and towns in our northern counties will reach the low 70s. The southern counties will deal with the cloudy sky and showers for a longer time. This will keep our temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Monday evening just about all of us will dry up and see a clearing sky.
Tuesday high pressure moves in and that will help clear out the clouds and rain. Most of us will see a partly cloudy sky with the afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
Wednesday the partly cloudy sky will continue but there is a small chance for a pop up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon hours. Most of us will stay dry and not see a thing. Wednesday will be a bit warmer with the afternoon temperatures in the low 80s.
Thursday will be a nice day with a mix of sun and clouds. The high temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
Friday and into next weekend will be warm and a mix of sun and clouds. there is a chance for a pop up thunderstorm or shower in the afternoon. The afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 70s to the lower 80s.
