Ski Report – March 8th, 2018

Ski Report

It’s really hard for ski resorts to make a comeback in March. The combination of a better chance for some milder air along with a stronger sun makes it hard to keep snow on the ground. However, many resorts have decided to invest in making snow to keep what they have, and in some cases, open up a little more terrain. We only had one more resort close for the season, Canaan in West Virginia. The rest remain open or will reopen on Saturday.

As for the weather, we’ll add some snow on Friday with more than a few inches for the resorts from the Laurel Highlands down to West Virginia. It will stay cold this weekend with a little snow possible on Sunday for the West Virginia resorts.
