Ski Report – March 2nd, 2018

Ski Report

While this February was not as warm as last February, it was still quite mild. On top of that it was the wettest February on record. That’s a combination that can eat snow quickly. Some resorts have been hanging by a thread but many of them are making a little snow and moving snow around and will likely survive for this weekend and likely the next weekend. Tussey, Blue Knob and Wisp all closed for a time to do some repairs but will all open on Saturday. Many of the other resorts that were open may even reopen some terrain.

Saturday will be a bit windy with clouds breaking for some sunshine. Temperatures will not leave the 30s on the mountains. Temperatures will rebound a little more on Sunday with less wind and a good deal of sunshine.
