Normally we are starting to head into the better part of ski season after the Martin Luther King holiday. Slope counts have increased a good bit and some resorts such as Tussey Mountain and Peek N Peak have reached 100% open and many other resorts are not too far behind. Some recent snow and continued cold means that resorts will continue to open new terrain.
It is going to be very cold on the slopes as we head into this weekend so dress appropriately. There will be some flurries and snow showers at times Friday through Sunday but there should not be too many travel issues nor significant accumulations over the weekend.
