Skiers should rejoice. It’s like Mother Nature removed the tarp and said, “OK, let’s have winter!”. Resorts from the Laurel Highlands through the mountains of West Virginia got some much needed snowfall this week. More importantly, it’s now cold enough for round the clock snowmaking. Therefore slope counts will be coming up fast.
As for the weather, Friday will be a nice day with clouds and some sunshine. Another snowfall is likely Saturday afternoon into Sunday with the heaviest snowfall primed to his the West Virginia resorts. It will be a cold weekend but not too bitter.
