Overnight Weather Forecast Wednesday, October 24th, 2018

A bubble of high pressure over the region will give us a partly to mostly sunny sky on Thursday. It will be chilly, but not quite as cold as Wednesday, with highs in the 40s to the lower 50s.

Clouds from the next system will start to increase on Friday. There may be some brief peeks of sunshine early but then it will turn out to be mostly cloudy. Some rain will start to develop from the south to the north during the afternoon on Friday. It’s not going to bode well for most high school football games Friday night so you will have to dig out the rain gear. Temperatures on Friday will likely not leave 40s.  This next system will cut to our south and bring us a cool, soaking rainfall Friday night into Saturday. An inch of rainfall looks likely which is probably not enough to cause flooding but will play havoc with a lot of outdoor activities. Temperatures Friday through Saturday will likely hover in the lower to middle 40s. If you are heading to the Penn State game you will need to dress warm and dry for the 3:30pm kickoff. The rain may taper to drizzle later Saturday but a breeze will start to kick up. Behind the system Sunday will be blustery and chilly with clouds, some sunshine, and some scattered sprinkles. Highs will be no better than the 40s. Monday will still be blustery and chilly with a good deal of clouds and maybe some sprinkles or flurries. Temperatures on Monday will once again fail to leave the 40s with the wind making it feel even colder than that. Temperatures will try to rebound as we approach the first weekend in November.
