Overnight Weather Forecast Wednesday, May 29th, 2018

A cold front will move into the region Thursday with a gusty breeze and scattered showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Any of these could be heavy; otherwise, Thursday will feature both clouds and sunshine with highs in the 70s. Behind that front Friday won’t be quite as warm with clouds and sunshine. Highs will be closer to the 70° mark.

A warm front will likely bring us a batch of showers and thunderstorms Friday night into perhaps early Saturday, especially near and north of I-80. Behind that warm front, temperatures will reach up well into the 70s to near 80 with a mix of clouds and sunshine. There can be a pop-up shower or thunderstorm Saturday afternoon. This front will slowly move through the area with more numerous showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. While the day won’t be a wash out, most places will have at least some rainfall and any shower or thunderstorm can bring a downpour so that is not the best news for mom. The front should clear the area but Monday leaving us with a mix of clouds and sunshine. It will not be much cooler behind the front with highs in the middle 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will also stay milder than average with a mix of clouds and sunshine along with just the chance for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm on either day. Highs each day will be in the middle to upper 70s.
