Weather

A front stalled to our south will start to drift closer to the area and give us a more unsettled, and wet, end to the work week. A disturbance moving along this front will bring a round of showers and drizzle on Thursday. The clouds, precipitation along with a flow from the chilly Atlantic Ocean will keep temperatures from rising much higher than the middle 50s Thursday. Some spots may spend a good portion of the day in the 40s. A stronger disturbance will develop to our south on Friday and bring us periods of rain Friday. With this system passing to our south, it’s going to be a cool rain with temperatures struggling to get into the lower 50s on Friday.  This system will still be close to the area on Saturday. It will be mostly cloudy with showers. Once again temperatures will have a tough time rising out of the lower to middle 50s. This system may start to push enough to the east to allow clouds to at least break for some peeks of sunshine on Sunday. There will still be the chance for scattered showers, maybe a thunderstorm but it will not be as wet as Friday and Saturday. With some breaks in the precipitation and the clouds, temperatures should rebound into the lower to middle 60s on Sunday. Monday will be a nicer day with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be in the middle to upper 60s. Tuesday will even be nicer with some sunshine and temperatures pushing into the 70s. The warming trend will continue on Wednesday with temperatures approaching the 80 degree mark along with a mix of clouds and hazy sunshine. Temperatures will stay above average later next week but we will have the chance for some thunderstorms.
