Overnight Weather Forecast Wednesday, April 4th, 2018

Weather

We’ll continue to have a chilly wind on Thursday with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be mostly in the lower to middle 40s. It will be a chilly for the Curve home opener, close to what we had on April 7th in 2016. The coldest opener was 37° on April 4th, 2002.

A warm front will bring scattered snow showers later Thursday night into early Friday but then the rest of Friday will be windy and a little milder with highs closer to 50 along with scattered rain showers. This will likely be the mildest day for the next week. A cold front will sink south of the area by Friday night and then a disturbance moving along the front can bring a period of snow later Friday night into Saturday. This system will likely bring some accumulation as the timing will be right falling in the early morning hours. Any slick spots should improve on Saturday as the snow will taper to scattered flurries and snow showers during the afternoon. It will be a cold day on Saturday with highs in the 30s. Behind this system Sunday will be cold with clouds and sunshine along with highs in the 30s to near 40. Another system will bring us clouds and perhaps a bit of a mix on Monday. Rain showers are likely on Tuesday and then milder air will return later next week.
