Overnight Weather Forecast Tuesday, November 13th, 2018

Weather

There still may be a flurry in a few spots early Wednesday then the rest of the day will be cloudy to partly sunny with a chilly wind. It’s going to be a cold day on Wednesday with highs in the 20s to the lower 30s. A clear sky and light winds will set the stage for temperatures to drop fast early Wednesday night. Some clouds will start to move in but lows will still get down into the upper teens to the lower 20s.

This cold air may very likely set the stage for a mess as the next storm system comes our way. Clouds will thicken early Thursday and a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will develop and a significant amount of ice and snow is likely before tapering off Friday morning. Temperatures on Thursday will slowly rise, and likely would not reach above freezing until Thursday night. This will likely cause some travel issues. We will know a lot more as time gets closer. This mix should change to snow showers on Friday. Temperatures will briefly rise into the 40s early Friday before chillier air returns to the region. Saturday will be brisk and chilly with highs in the 30s to near 40 with a mix of clouds and sunshine and only the chance for a flurry. Another push of cold air will arrive with a gusty wind on Sunday with highs in the upper 20s to the middle 30s. We’ll warm back to near average in time for Thanksgiving.
