Friday will feature times of clouds and sunshine. The combination of some sunshine and a switch to a westerly flow will help temperatures to boost up to very warm levels, reaching the middle 80s in places. On top of that, it will stay quite humid with dewpoint temperatures in the 60s.
As a front moves through the region, we will have a scattered of thunderstorms, especially during the midday and afternoon hours. Once again, any of these thunderstorms could be strong. This front will stall close to the region over the weekend and that’s going to leave us with some question marks with the weather. Clouds will break at times for some sunshine on Saturday and it will still be a bit warm and humid with temperatures reaching well into the 70s to near 80. There will be a shower or thunderstorm in a few spots Saturday, especially during the midday and afternoon hours. A disturbance moving along the front will bring more numerous showers and thunderstorms Saturday night, especially the farther south in Pennsylvania you are. There still will be some showers, maybe a thunderstorm, early Sunday; otherwise, the day will be cloudy to partly sunny. So this is mixed news for the Children’s Miracle Network Celebration event at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park. Of course things could change if this front stalls in a different locations.
Eventually this system will clear the region for early next week. Behind it, some cooler air will move in for the beginning of next week. Monday and Tuesday will be comfortable with a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 60s to the lower 70s. There is a chance for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm on either day but most of the time looks rain free. The chance for a shower or thunderstorm will be even smaller on Wednesday with clouds and sunshine and highs in the lower to middle 70s. Thursday will be partly sunny and a little warmer. This should be the start of a seasonably warm weather pattern that will last through the following weekend.
