A bubble of high pressure sitting over the region will give us a nice end to the work week. We’ll have plenty of sunshine Friday. A relatively cool morning will give way to a pleasantly warm afternoon with lower humidity. Highs will be in the 70s to near 80. Friday night will still be comfortable then we’ll turn warm and more humid Saturday with a sunny to partly cloudy sky. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
As this area of high pressure sinks to the south, we’ll turn steamy by the beginning of next week. Sunday will be very warm and humid with some hazy sunshine and only the slightest chance for a pop-up thunderstorm. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s. Monday and Tuesday will be hot and humid with some hazy sunshine along with highs well into the 80s to near 90. A thunderstorm can not be ruled out on Monday with a slightly better chance on Tuesday afternoon. There will be a better chance for some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday as the next front moves through the region. There will be a little cooling and a reduction in humidity later in the week.
