Overnight Weather Forecast Monday, September 10th, 2018

Many rivers are still under flood warnings. While they are starting to fall, it will take some time before they drop below flood stage. We’ll continue to have showers and drizzle into the early morning hours on Tuesday along with areas of fog. The rest of Tuesday will feature a good deal of clouds along with some peeks of sunshine along with another shower or a touch of drizzle in spots.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.

Wednesday will be even warmer despite more clouds than sunshine. Highs will be in the 70s and the humidity will also start to come up once again. There may be a touch of drizzle or a shower in some places later in the day. What happens after Wednesday will really depend on Hurricane Florence. This dangerous storm system will be moving to the Carolina Coastline later Thursday. Right now it looks like Thursday will be mostly cloudy and a bit breezy with some rain and drizzle, mostly in the southern part of our region. A continued flow from the Atlantic Ocean will give us an even better chance for drizzle and rain at times Friday into Saturday, especially the farther south you are. Highs each day will be in the 70s. The chance for rainfall may increase a little more if the remnants of Florence comes farther to the north Sunday, but right not it doesn’t look like we will have the worst of that storm. Some rain and drizzle may also still be possible on Monday Highs each day will be in the 70s.
