Tuesday will start off with low clouds and fog but then we’ll have enough sunshine to help push temperatures well through the 70s to near 80. Wednesday will also be unseasonably warm and humid with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs will be well into the 80s to near 80.
A cold front will bring more in the way of cloudiness along with showers and thunderstorms on Thursday. Behind the front, cooler air will move in for the end of the week. The remnants of what is now Hurricane Michael will be passing to our south, and while it likely won’t directly bring us rainfall, it’s going to help pull in cool air behind the front later this week. Friday will be partly sunny, not as warm, nor as humid with highs in the 50s to near 60. Temperatures will drop into the 30s to the lower 40s by Saturday morning with frost possible in some of the coldest spots. Saturday will also be partly sunny and seasonably cool with highs in the 50s. It’s going to be a chilly late afternoon for Penn State’s matchup against Michigan State with a 3:30pm kickoff. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine on Sunday with highs in the 50s to the lower 60s. The next front will bring more clouds than sunshine with the chance for showers on Monday with highs in the 50s to near 60. It will stay seasonably cool behind that front.
